Spring Registration is live, and there are still openings to join us for Winter Clinics.
As we have in the past, we expect to see more players out for Lacrosse this spring than we had last spring. We have increased our participation numbers each year and hope to keep that trend going into 2019 and beyond. To do that we need help from you our members. We need help in four main areas:
b.Other volunteer positions
We are part of the newly created Northern Planes Lacrosse League as members of this league; we need to provide referees for our home games. We are looking to train local men and women to be able to referee lacrosse. If you have previous referring experience that is great, if not that is fine as well. If you are interested in learning more please reach out to us
With more players comes the need for more teams, more teams means more coaches. We need some of you enthusiastic parents to step up to learn the game of lacrosse to help coach our kids. We will be having a classroom coaches training session to help you learn the basics as well as field training to learn the drills and the proper way to teach them. The first year that you coach, you will receive one player registration refunded.
We all know the things that this association accomplishes do not happen without the hard work of the volunteers that make up the Board of Directors. We are currently in need of some additional help.
a.We have 3 Board Members terms expiring after this season, We will need some great people to help fill these positions.
iii.Director of Fundraising

As with any sport new to the area, we need to keep growing. To keep growing the game we need to keep recruiting new players. If you know of boys or girls that are interested in Lacrosse, please invite them to come along with your player to a camp or practice to check out the game. We will also remove the fundraising requirement for players that refer a new player that registers for the spring season.
